June 11 2016, Ferar: ICYM Ferar held the election of its office bearers on Sunday, June 05th at the Parish mini hall. Youth representatives from entire parishes forming the electoral body voted democratically and chose eleven young leaders. These young men and women will represent the Parish in the diocese of Mangalore and form the Youth Leadership Team.

The elections were conducted under the guidelines of parish priest Fr. Pius Pinto the Director of ICYM. The need to serve than be served and to provide dynamic Christian leadership for a very vibrant and dynamic youth body in the Church was the anthem of the Youngsters.
The eleven elected to represent the Catholic youth of Ferar included: Loyal Roshan Rodrigues as President, Jerome D’costa as Vice President, Ivy Cutinha as Lady Vice President, Fiona Rasquinha as Secretary, Clyde D’souza as Joint Secretary, Kevin pinto as Sports Secretary, Vijay fernandes as Treasurer, Lavel veevan d’silva as Auditor, Glen ashly Sequeira as Cultural Secretary, Revan Shawn Sequeira as Liturgy Secretary, Vanitha d’souza as Amcho Yuvak representative.

Over the next one year, the team will work together to establish active youth group in the parish and also represent the Parish in the ICYM Central Unit in diocese of Mangalore and ensure that ICYM is the household name among the catholic youth of the diocese.
